Peter Schwingel
Born in 1942, after completion of his compulsory military service he studied
economics and business administration at University of Kiel, degree equivalent
to B.A. in 1969. He began his professional career in marketing and sales with
Germany’s leading media company Bertelsmann AG. Here he also received his
first HR management experience. Thereafter short stint with a building supply
company before moving into personnel consulting in 1974.
He spent 4 years as a personnel consultant with the German subsidiary of the
English Hay Group, MSL Deutschland. Than joined Ernst Dahlke in 1978 as one
of the founding partners of Dahlke & Partner GmbH. Peter Schwingel is today
Chief Managing Partner of the firm.
He has particular expertise in the following sectors:
steel, plastics, paper, packaging machinery, ID technology.
